Abigail to Betty and Mary Warren who initially express fear about their actions in the woods and express a desire to confess. Abigail asserts her power over the girls right away so as to ensure she is not exposed. Act I (page 20)

He is the third minister of Salem in seven years and does not want the community to have the ability to put him out. He demands the deed to his house and preaches fire and brimstone regarding whatever he is after until he has it. Act I (page 30)

Danforth to Francis Nurse who is trying to prove his wife is simply the victim of scheming townspeople. He is completely convinced by the girls and believes that the court is doing the work of God. Act III (page 94)

Proctor to the men of the court in his last attempt to save his wife and prove the dishonesty of the girls. He reveals Abigail's motivation to see Elizabeth Proctor condemned. Act III (page 110)

Spoke or silent, a promise is surely made. Elizabeth Proctor to her husband, explaining why Abigail would continue to pursue him though he had ended the affair. She tells him that by sleeping with her, he made a commitment to her, at least in her eyes. Act II (page 61)

A fire, a fire is burning! I hear the boot of Lucifer, I see his filthy face! And it is my face, and yours, Danforth! For them that quail to bring men out of ignorance, as I have quailed, and as you quail now when you know in all your black hearts that this be fraud-God damns our kind especially, and we will burn, we will burn together.
Proctor after Mary Warren turns on him to save her own life and he finds himself suddenly condemned. Act III (page 119-20).

So, if you used an article that was from one of the books that Marti had out as a source, you are going to need some info to do the citation. Note that the individual article you use should be cited like an article from a reference book.

Anywho, I just wanted to say, I gave myself admin power.

I know some of you have been waiting a long time, and I apologize for the delay. I will not read anymore essays until I "attack" your final papers on Monday.

Career Unit Assignment

._.; Seriously.
This is among the most useless assignments in school ever.
I mean yeah, it's important and stuff. To learn what we want to be, schools..etc.

But I already pretty much know exactly what I want to be. I already researched this on my own. I already know about a lot of the information and already looked at schools.

It would be much much useful if we had a few classdays where we go and talk to the counselor one on one. I mean this will at least be useful for everyone.

And perhaps everyone else would work on essays or stuff. Or some language thing. At least this doesn't take in your time.

AND even if we had to do this, there will be no grade on it. Just maybe a little completion grade on like if we actually attempted at doing this.

Seriously? Forcing me to compare two separate careers when I already know exactly what I want to do? (Yes I do know I can change and stuff, but I already done research, I already went to SCC and took a college credited class for Design to find out if I would actually like to major in it, I already have colleges in mind, I already planned my classes this year to correspond to my major, I already have an idea of the classes I wish to take next year, I already volunteer for artness, and yes I know my grammar spelling and everything is completing awful.. whoo-hoo for incredibly long run on! ._.; Why don't they at least have an alternative assignment where it can be more useful to me?

The powerpoint and presentation wasn't too helpful either.

Public Library Resources

So

For those of you who are in Marti's class 4th Hour you already know some of this

Some of you will get this for the first time.

If you go to the public library's website, www.youranswerplace.org and click on the button that says "Electronic Resources" you can access a huge number of resources to get a secondary source for your paper.

You do have to have a library card, however.

If you click on the link that says "literature" and go down to "literature resource center" and click the blue button on the right, you will get to, in my opinion, the best database for finding literary criticism.
